About Norfolk County
Norfolk County /ˈnɔːrfoʊk/ is a rural single-tier municipality on the north shore of Lake Erie in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. There are many Communities in Norfolk County, Ontario, most small or very small; the largest is Simcoe, Ontario with a 2016 population of 13,922. The population of the entire County in 2016 was 64,044. In the late 1900s, the county was merged with Haldimand County but the merged entity was dissolved in 2000 and this area became The Town of the County of Norfolk.
